1965, John Wayne (Henry Hathaway)
John Wayne is a lump, and a little wooden in everything, but strong beyond reason
pretty good fun, especially at the start
always the wide shots
pretty down the line direction, not much there
story can't quite build up pathos, but halfway decent
gets a bit dull, but not bad at all
